Research

The Qiu Lab at Fudan University focuses on the development of the next-generation of non-viral nanoparticle delivery systems and their application in the treatment of a variety of diseases, including cancer and inherited disease. The specific research topics of our lab include:
1. Design and Development of Tissue and Cell-Specific Nano Delivery Systems
Designing and developing lipid nanoparticles and functional polymeric nanocarriers to achieve tissue and cell-specific nucleic acid delivery.
2. Targeted Delivery of Nucleic Acids and Biomedical Applications
Exploring the mechanisms and biomedical applications of targeted delivery of various nucleic acids (such as mRNA, DNA, siRNA, and CRISPR-Cas gene editing tools) in disease treatment.
3. Detection and Analysis Methods of Nano-Protein Corona and Its Chemobiological Effects
Studying the detection and analysis methods of nano-protein corona and investigating its chemobiological effects in the process of nucleic acid delivery.
